GLEN CADMAN’S DAY

In Memoriam – Glen Cadman

On Saturday 1st July we had a special day in Narre Warren Bowls Club.

It was a day to remember Glen Cadman, past member of our Club who passed 3 years ago.

The day was full of joy and emotion, as we celebrated the life of a very special man.

During his time as a member of the club, Glen made many friends.

He was known for his strong sense of fair play and his great ability to encourage people to enjoy the sport of bowls.

His presence was a great asset to the club and he is sadly missed.

The Club wanted to do something special for Glen and his family.

The day was sponsored by the Wilson family and organized by Cameron Lee and multiple helpers who worked very hard and with a lot of enthusiasm to make the day successful and memorable.

Everyone had a great time, the atmosphere was truly amazing with lots of laughs and smiles

More than 90 people including Narre Warren members, bowlers from other clubs and family members gathered to play 3 games and had a wonderful lunch.

The highlight of the day was when Kery Cadman, Glen’s widow, presented the Glen Cadman  Memorial Shield to the winning team.

The club members will always remember Glen and cherish the great memories he has left us.

It was a huge success and we are proud to have been able to honour the memory of a man who was loved and respected by so many people.
