NARRE WARREN BOWLS CLUB Masters Superbowl Competition 15-16/07/2023

Over the weekend, our club held again the Masters Superbowls Tournament sponsored by the Wilson family and organized by Cameron Lee.

More than 90 skilled players from different clubs across Victoria competed fiercely in the triples format playing 2 bowls.

Everyone was vying to take home the grand prize jackpot.

The two-day event was intense and a display of top-class bowling skills.

Many club’s members worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the event, which included arranging the games, setting up the greens, providing breakfast and lunch on both days and selling raffles with amazing prizes.

In addition, our coach Cameron Bell organized an extra entertainment, a corner to corner game, which was won by David de Vries after many attempts and lots of fun from various players.

The Masters Superbowls Trophy 2023 was won by the team led by Aaron Burke, along with Mick Daly and Diane McLeod.

They emerged victorious after winning 6 games and tying one.

Despite the challenges of having a small venue during our building renovations, the event was a total success and a great showcase of the talent and passion within Victoria’s vibrant bowls community.
